  Heard you speaking on Morning Ireland and I was struck by your story of loss and heartbreak... As a mother I cannot conceive of your heartache - don't give up - someone. somewhere knows what happened to your beloved daughter - I pray that you will find peace and some closure - for all of you...

  To Jim & family,

Although I did not know Raonaid and our paths have not crossed since I left school, my thoughts are and have been with you and your family.

  Listening to the interview this morning made us both realise the value of life. We dearly hope that justice will be served and may Raonaid rest in peace. God bless you all.

  TREAD lightly, she is near
Under the snow,
Speak gently, she can hear
The daisies grow.

All her bright golden hair
Tarnished with rust,
She that was young and fair
Fallen to dust.

Lily-like, white as snow,
She hardly knew
She was a woman, so
Sweetly she grew.

Coffin-board, heavy stone,
Lie on her breast;
I vex my heart alone,
She is at rest.

Peace, peace; she cannot hear
Lyre or sonnet;
All my life's buried here,
Heap earth upon it.

  I heard the radio interview this morning I was very moved as I have two daughters, and remember this well.

All I could do to help was to put it out on Twitter @skysketcher is my ID on that social networking site.

I will put it out on Facebook as well

Someone knows someone who may be capable of such a inhuman, monstrous act of violence . I hope you find this creature.

Deepest sympathy

  I heard your very moving tribute to Raonaid on the radio this morning and it reminded me so much of the shock of hearing her name being announced on the radio 10 years ago.
I remember Raonaid from primary school although she wasn't in my class, but her death was still so shocking; she touched so many peoples lives, even those she may have only known to see. It's hard to accept that she never got to experience post-teenage life like all of us have or will do.
I commend her sister, brother and parents for all the courage they've shown over these 10 years and their determination to never give up until justice is done. You are truly remarkable and brave people and Raonaid must be SO proud of you. Our deceased loved ones are always with us as Raonaid is with you.

  I often think of Raonid & it is heartbreaking that she was so close to safety when she was attacked. I hope that the person who took her from you is found. There are people out there - apart from her killer - who have been burdened by what they know over the last 10 years. Now would be a good time to come forward & give some peace to her family & to themselves.

  To Raonaids family, your tribute has genuinely reduced me to tears- I have always been aware of your plight as I remember starting college in sept of '99 and was exactly 1 year older than your beautiful daughter. I pray that you get the closure and solace that you need; and know that nothing will ever ease the pain for all of you, but your strength and integrity are truly humbling. How you have existed through the past 10 years i will never know and my thoughts go out to you all.

  I remember clearly the day that Raonaid passed away, it was the day after my birthday. I know that you will remain strong for one another and justice will be served with time.

  May God help you both, my heart goes out to you. It is great you have the strength to keep Roanaid's name alive. I will pray for you and hopefully justice will be done.
