What a fabulous tribute to your beautiful daughter. I hope you find comfort in the wonderful messages of support you have received through this website from all around the world. I too remember the day Raonaid was murdered and like so many other people I think about her and all of you every year at this time. To lose a child is heartbreaking. To lose a child in the manner you lost Raonaid is unspeakable. I heard you on morning ireland yesterday and was also moved to tears. Nobody deserves the pain and suffering that you have had to endure for 10 years. May you find peace and comfort in the fact that so many people are thinking about you and most importantly of all remembering your beautiful daughter. I have 3 children myself and having heard you both yesterday I admit that I hugged them a bit tighter and a bit longer last night. May god bless you and comfort you all. Raonaid is walking with you everyday, helping you to carry this cross.

Like most Irish people I often think of your daughter and the terrible injustice you have all suffered. At the time of your daughters death I was mourning the loss of my father(not for a second am I comparing it with yours), but whenever I think about those early months of grieving I think about your daughter also. I admire your strength in coming through the past ten years, and also your efforts to get justice for your daughter. Like everyone on this site I truly wish you some kind of closure by the person who did this being apprehended. I lost my much loved mother in January and cry for her every day. My wonderful twenty three year old son is a wonderful comfort. I wish you every good wish.

We think of you always and you are in our thoughts and prayers. We too have children and a daughter now heading for 17. Your pain must be unimaginable. You deserve justice for your beautiful daughter and in time you will get it.

Just a line to say that my thoughts are with you at this terrible time. Anniversaries are so tough. We lost a beautiful girl aged 17 in 2002. I could see and hear how much you hate being without her. It's a hard road and only other bereaved parents really know what lies behind the mask.
Prayers and kind thougts

I was in Raonaids class at school. I remember her as a kind, clever and fun loving girl. I think about her often and have always remained hopefull that whoever took her life away will be brought to justice one day. I admire her familys strength.

To Jim & Deirdre, Daniel & Sarah: I will offer my prayers that the Lord may touch the heart of the perpetrator of that evil deed, to encourage them to come forward & admit their guilt in order to give you peace of mind & closure. May the Lord bless you & keep you.
